Tupac’s Lawyer Files Suit For Rapper’s Memorabilia

Afeni Shakur, Tupac Shakur’s mother, is suing to recover Tupac’s passport, driver’s license, clothing, jewelry, and handwritten items including lyrics and scripts. The estate is suing an auction house called Moments in Time and two other individuals who have kept some of the late rapper’s mementos.

The celebrity attorney representing the estate, Howard King, claims that the defendants bought the items from third parties illegally and therefore have no right to possess or sell the items.

Since Tupac is posthumously being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, his personal belongings are expected to become more valuable than ever.
